Sankranthi rocking by three films

On every Starting with Sankranthi, many releases of big films of big heroes would take place. Initially there were eight to ten films in the race for this festive season, but surprisingly despite the fact with no big film’s release, many films are yet backing out from Sankranthi releases for budgetary or logical reasons. Generally for the movie traders in Tollywood, there would be bulk number of new releases as Sankranthi tradition, after which the next target for them would be the summer vacation. 

But 2009 Sankranthi is going to see only three films – ‘Maska’, ‘Arundathi’ and ‘Fitting Master’. All three films ‘Maska’, ‘Arundathi’ and ‘Fitting Master’ belong to different genres. If one is romantic action entertainer, the second is socio-fantasy and the last is the comedy entertainer.

The films that were postponed are Siddarth-Tamanna starring ‘Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam’, Nitin Priyamani starring ‘Drona’, Raja, Namitha, Meera Chopra starring ‘Jaganmohini’, Sriram, Prithviraj, Kamilini Mukherjee and Sanjana starring ‘Police Police’, Rajasekhar, Sanjana and Neetu Chandra starring ‘Satyameva Jayathe’ and many more small films. 

‘Maska’ featuring Ram, Hansika Motwani and Sheela is directed by B Gopal and produced by MS Raju under Sumanth Arts Productions banner. Chakri composed the tunes and Sekhar V Joseph is the cinematographer. 

The most happening heroine of today’s Tollywood, Anushka in dual role, ‘Arundhati’, a graphics fantasy film is directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by M Shyam Prasad Reddy. While Koti provided the musical scores, K K Senthil Kumar played with the camera. 

Yes! Allari Naresh is ready for race again, this time as ‘Fitting Master’ under his home production EVV Cinema and his father EVV Satyanarayana wields the comic wand. Mumbai model Madasala is the heroine. S Chinna composes the music and E Prasad Babu is the cameraman.
